Why Packaging
Matters

Packaging is what makes consumers stop and take notice.  It is an essential component of any product brand and marketing strategy, communicating the product’s purpose, quality, personality and uniqueness.  Amid the growing competition for consumer attention, outstanding packaging is essential to moving products off the shelf.

Designing an effective package requires creativity and technical proficiency in numerous areas.  It requires knowledge of materials, shapes and colors, each of which may carry its own set of meanings and associations. Effective packaging is also closely associated with development of the product itself.  Packaging shape and color may strongly influence a product’s personality — for example, certain shades of blue are often associated with cleanliness. Tradition may also play a role. For instance, consumers expect sparking wine to be sold in glass bottles. At the same time, non-traditional packaging that disrupts common associations is sometimes an effective way to attract attention.

We serve industries who need packaging that appeals to all senses.
